Portovenere Castle

The Castle of Porto Venere stands on top of a rocky promontory with a structure made up of blind walls made with powerful vaults in local stone. Currently, the DoriaCastle is used for art exhibitions both in the summer, both in the winter and also national and international conferences as well as weddings. These can take place inside, in the “Captain’s lounge” or outside on the terrace or in the amphitheater (esplanade). It is possible to organize civil official ceremonies as well as replication ceremonies and banquets.

The views are breathtaking, a nice breeze is always there , son also in summer time the location is perfect….but you have to advise your guests that they need to wear comfortable shoes cause they will have to walk most of the way to the great castle!!
