Before its recent total renovation by a luxury hotel group, this historic property from the 14th century was completely rundown. While this complete restoration left the structure’s vaulted ceilings (each decorated with intricate, richly colored designs), mosaic-tiled floors and other original charms intact, the new owners opted for sleeker, more modern versions of the furnishing that undoubtedly once graced the many rooms.
