Description

Borgo vigneto is comprised of three clusters of wholly restructured and newly equipped farmhouses surrounded by vineyards.
Located on a small hilltop with 360° view over vineyards that are the first material for a precious and delightfully chianti wine.
The name Borgo Vigneto goes back to 1400, when travelers between Florence and Siena rested in the area and drank from a sprinkling water fountain and pass the village of Santa Maria a Macerata, today the central farmhouse while going to Badia a Passignano, then a powerful Benedictine monastery.

The estate is made of: Santa Maria a Macerata, Podere Vivaio & Podere Tignanello, each with charming apartments, cottages and suites. Beautiful gardens, swimming pool and sunbathing area, tennis court, restaurant, breakfast area.
