Villa Ferrazza

Villa Ferrazza stands tall amidst the beautiful hills to the south of Siena, looking out over the picturesque valley below.  It is a 13th-century hamlet which, having been restored with special care and refined taste, enables its guests to fully enjoy the beauty of the countryside and the comfort of truly modern accommodations.The villa’s interior, complete with modern comforts integrated during restoration, maintains many of the traditional characteristics of a Tuscan rural residence.  The original layout of the structure has been preserved, along with the handsome terra cotta flooring, the wood-beam ceiling and the stone fireplaces.

The vast garden offers plenty of areas for dining and general relaxation outdoors.  In front of the kitchen, a terra cotta-paved terrace with long wooden tables, chairs and umbrellas provides guests with a comfortable area for al fresco meals under the warm Tuscan sun or the starry night sky.  Additionally, the swimming pool boasts fantastic view and a fully-equipped pool house with showers and bathrooms.  Also available for the guests’ outdoor enjoyment is a sauna, a wood-burning pizza oven, a barbecue station, a fabulous astronomical observatory with an electronic telescope and roof opening, a Roman bathhouse with three bathing pools at different temperatures, and a gazebo furnished with couches and arm chairs. The entire property includes thirteen double bedrooms and one single room, divided between three buildings.  The main three-floor villa sleeps sixteen.
